I thought I was 'settling' by getting a Red Copper Halfmoon instead of a Vampire Betta, but I couldn't have been more wrong! 🛑🖐️ This is hands-down one of the most stunning fish I’ve ever owned. The intricate, lace-like detail on the tail is a total showstopper—every single guest asks about him. He started off shy, but now he’s being hand-fed bloodworms like the royalty he is! 👑🩸 10/10 would 'settle' for this quality again.

The betta is beautiful. However, I think because the photos are so vibrant and the fins are so large and bold in the pictures; I expected a WOW factor that I didn’t quite get. This is my first time purchasing a fish so maybe I (mentally) aimed too high. BUT he arrived a little hungry but otherwise happy and healthy. Great shipping experience as well. They took care to make sure they shipped fast and at a time that would ensure a healthy fish.

To be honest I was really surprised at how small the fish was when it arrived. I was expecting to see something like the photos on the website. You can barely see the fish in the tank it's so small. I am giving 3 stars because I had really good communication with Tropicflow and the fish arrived in good condition.
He arrived healthy and intact. so far has shown zero signs of sickness. my only complaint is that he doesn't look like the picture advertised. he is red and white. the picture advertised a copper body with white streaks in the tail and red and black details.
My beta was beautiful. He unfortunately died after just a few days. I’m not sure what happened or if he just didn’t bounce back after being shipped. The package looked pretty beat up and was on its side. I’m sad he had a rough journey.

Unfortunately the fish did not survive the trip. It lived for one evening and a day before passing the next evening. It was carefully acclimated to a mature tank. It was a large beautiful fish, but low energy, I think it was too old for the trip. The 2 hour cutoff to report a problem does not seem right.
This poor fish has been totally lethargic since he’s arrived. Is he an older fish? Water testing feels like hourly. Now on the other hand the white Dumbo is very active eating and adjusting to his new home.
DOA. Took pictures. Wrote to them right away. And again. 2 weeks. No replies.
