    Acclimating Your Betta Fish

    1. Temperature Match: Ensure the new tank's water temperature matches the water the Betta fish was previously in.
    2. Float the Bag: Float the bag with the Betta fish in the new tank for 15-20 minutes to adjust to the temperature.
    3. Gradual Water Mixing: Add small amounts of tank water into the bag every 5-10 minutes to help the fish adjust to new water parameters.
    4. Net Transfer: Gently transfer the Betta fish from the bag into the tank using a net.
    5. Dim Lighting: Keep tank lights off initially to reduce stress on the fish.
    6. Monitor Behavior: Watch for signs of stress and discomfort, adjusting as needed.
    7. Regular Observation: Check on the Betta fish frequently in the first days to ensure it's adjusting well.
    8. Water Testing: Regularly test water parameters to ensure they're suitable for Betta fish.
    9. Provide Hiding Places: Offer hiding spots to make the Betta feel secure.
    10. Avoid Overfeeding: Feed sparingly to maintain water quality.
    11. Patience: Give the Betta time to acclimate, which may take a few days.

🛡️🌑 Gray Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick | Blackwater Line

The Gray Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish is a bold fusion of wild alien genetics and the structured samurai armor pattern, built for hobbyists who appreciate raw tone, subtle metallic depth, and slow development.

Selected as a Grower Pick, these fish are chosen for body strength, clean structure, and their potential to develop smoky gray metallic coloration layered with emerging samurai scaling over time.

This is not a bright, instant showpiece — it’s a low-key, high-end wild form that evolves with the right environment.

    🌑 Smoky Alien Armor Expression

In a stable, low-stress setup, the body deepens into a charcoal gray base with hints of silver metallic sheen. As the fish matures, samurai-style armor scaling begins to appear along the body, creating a plated, battle-worn look.

The gray tone shifts subtly under lighting — from soft ash to darker graphite — giving the fish a shadow-like presence in the tank. The alien genetics add a faint iridescent layer, visible only when conditions are right.

Pattern and coverage will vary. Some fish develop stronger armor plating, while others maintain a more minimal, clean gray profile with light scaling.

The wild plakat body supports natural movement, durability, and long-term health — prioritizing function and balance over exaggerated fins.

    🌿 Recommended Blackwater Setup

    • ✔️ Indian almond leaves or botanical mix
    • ✔️ Driftwood, leaf litter, natural scape
    • ✔️ Soft, slightly acidic water
    • ✔️ Low lighting / shaded areas
    • ✔️ Calm, established aquarium

These conditions help bring out the gray metallic tone and allow the samurai pattern to stabilize and deepen.

Customer photo review of Green Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

My fish arrived super quick (about a week) and was in great condition. He was very active and still brightly colored upon arrival, and even ate in the bag while I was acclimating him. He only hid for a few hours after releasing him in the tank, and explored every crevice. He's very lively and super curious about everything I do, especially with the tank. I added snails and floating plants and he was right at the surface, unafraid and kinda in the way lol. So happy with my fish and will be ordering again when I'm ready for my next tank!

Customer video review of Copper Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

This is my first time ordering. I was a bit nervous since shipping was delayed 1 day. When the fish arrived it was very pale and the color was light grey ish brown. After a night its color starting to show up. I am so blessed to be provided with this great canvas. This fish has a tremendous potential to be a show fish. Most of all, the fish has great personality. It is very bold and active. I am very pleased.

Customer photo review of Green Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

We are very pleased with our little guy. He arrived in great shape and immediately started running around the tank and eating after acclimation. We can’t wait to see how he morphs and colors up over time. Thanks!!

Green Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

Shipping was a little later than I expected (1 extra day), so I was kinda worried. When I opened the box the fish looked a bit pale at first, but after acclimating for a few hours his colors started coming back strong. Now he’s super active and looks amazing in my tank.

Green Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

My alien betta came in this morning and I couldn’t stop staring at him. The blue shimmer is unreal. He perked up fast after acclimation and started swimming around like he’s been here forever.

Blue Samurai Alien Wild Male Betta Fish | Grower Pick

Betta recieved looks nothing like any of the sample photos but is just a standard copper alien which is priced cheaper than what i paid for. I’ve reached out to seller on multiple platforms- facebook, messenger, instagram, the webpage, even the supprt email that came with the invoice. Everything shows that the seller read/saw my message but never a responce back.
