My daughter was happy with her fish.
This is my new lavender halfmoon dumbo ear male. The video is taken in slow motion in a blackwater tank. It's worth noting about his coloration that the blackwater tones down the violet hue on his body. That being said, curb your expectations about fish colorations that you see online. He has a beautiful dusty purple body that graduates to a magenta and then red tail. The graduation is subtle and refined looking. This is a perfect betta for anyone who just wants a little bit of variation and interest in a red colored betta. He is wonderful quality. He has a broad head and shoulders and the longest flowing fins I have seen on a dumbo ear halfmoon betta. He's very large. He is extremely calm and investigative. He's very happy in a planted five gallon tank, though I believe I will end up moving him into a ten gallon tank soon. He eats and swims well. He's a stunning example of the species. Thank you.

Fast shipping. He was also very well packed with insulation, double boxing, and a cool pad (it’s over 100 degrees here). He came out happy and ready to explore. I had good directions on how to help him adapt to his new home. Excellent experience.

Arrived within 2 days from ship date. Package was well insulated and the Betta was lively. Did a 25 min acclimation, bag in the tank. Followed by 30 min drip acclimation. He’s been very active and curious. Very happy with him and the purchase!
